Dearest Wolfriders, Elven Heroes, and everyone who looks up at the Two Moons,
BackerKit is live now, and we are sending out links to backer surveys. More importantly, all the core PDFs are available on BackerKit in the digital downloads section. A few more handouts and such will be added over the next few weeks.
While the PDFs are fully bookmarked and have been edited, we have no doubt that a few typos may have snuck in during the scanning and text creation phase. If you find any such typos or corrections, you are most welcome to submit them via a dedicated email we have set: [email protected]
All typos and corrections submitted will be incorporated into the text before the files are sent to the printer. Please submit any corrections to us by April 20th.
More news soon. As always, thank you backing this Kickstarter.

Dearest Wolfriders, Elven Heroes, and everyone who looks up at the Two Moons,
We are on target to get the layout of the last of the 5 main books, the Elfbook, done next week. We will then be able to send out the PDFs of those books to backers. One of the easiest decisions to make was updating the Elfbook and Worldbook covers to full color. They went from this:
To now looking like this:
We'll be opening BackerKit next week so we can get the digital files to you shortly thereafter. More news soon. As always, thank you backing this Kickstarter.

January Production Update

Dearest Wolfriders, Elven Heroes, and everyone who looks up at the Two Moons,
We thank you for your patience as we have been working on wrapping up the creation of the last bits of material we added into the box based on the stretch goals:
The extra flora and fauna have been written.
The new world map is done and approved by the Pinis.
The extra player characters have been written, as have the new magic powers.
Standees and GM screen awaiting final tweaks and approval.
One decision that was made during layout was abandoning the use of 1/4-page sized character sheets for fully documented characters. It didn't work that well back in the 1980s, plus technology has come a fair way since then. We've redone them so they are now full page character sheets in the books, and also as an electronic set for printing at your leisure. Here's what we mean if you don't have access to one of the original books:
The page on the left is a scan of page 12 of the ElfQuest Companion. On the right is the new full size character sheet.
You may be wondering about the light blue boxes on the full page character sheet of Shen-Shen. They are there because we decided late in the process to make all of the full page "filled in" character sheets and the blank character sheets as form fillable. Thus, you can edit/update their stats, skills, and similar on the PDFs. They are no longer just small static pictures.
We've also had requests for when all these PDFs will be available. We're very close to being ready to distribute them. Now that we know the actual weight of the shipped physical product (a little over 4 lbs. or 2 kilos) we are setting up the shipping costs in BackerKit. We can then invite all you backers to BackerKit right around the end of this month, and start making the downloads available shortly thereafter. If you are wondering how we know the exact weight and not an estimated weight, it's because of a recent delivery to our office mailbox. If you are curious about that, please keep reading.
One of the things the printer provides for a more complex project is a physical "dummy" of the finished project. It's basically a complete physical mock-up of the final product using the same paper and materials the finished set will contain. In this case, it's a blank box full of blank booklets, handouts, and similar. Here are some photos of what we recently received.
Top down into the box, with just enough room for the standee stands, plus some dice tucked above.
The box is fairly close to full!
The 5 main booklets and lots of maps, handouts, etc.

Dearest Wolfriders, Elven Heroes, and everyone who looks up at the Two Moons,
All of us at Warp Graphics and the Chaosium want to wish you a happy new year!
Thank you again for making the kickstarter such a success. We have been busily crafting the additional stretch goal material. We will post a fuller update next week outlining when we will be opening the pledge manager and delivering the initial PDFs.
As always, thank you backing this Kickstarter.

Dearest Wolfriders, Elven Heroes, and everyone who looks up at the Two Moons,
The main campaign has come to a close, and we raised $219,000 at the final bell. Many thanks to all of our 2000+ backers. We're hard at work getting all of the stretch goal material into the various documents and PDF delivery is not too far down the road.
If you or anyone you know has missed out, it's not too late to join. We have the "late pledge" feature active and people can still pledge for all the main reward levels. We'll keep that active at least until we open the pledge manager in a few weeks.
Once the pledge manager is active you'll be able to make further adjustments, including purchasing any of the add-ons at the same prices. You'll also have plenty of time to update your address as and when you might need to.
Our basic plan from here:
Kickstarter will be collecting funds and assisting with any payment problems
Our team is updating the files for all the stretch goal material
We'll open the pledge manager in a few weeks and start delivery of PDFs
We'll have a short window for reporting typos and similar
The files are then off to the printers
The add-on poster rolled maps will get shipped in tubes
The printed boxed sets will get shipped to our 5 fulfillment warehouses
Once there, we then ship the boxed sets to backers.
